The Pompano Beach Seafood Festival offered a wide range of seafood, musical entertainment, craft vendors and a chance to kick back and have some fun and relaxation. There were three stages for band performances and many local artists performed.
“We have been coming to the Seafood Festival for 12 years. It is a lot of fun and we love the people,” said Clayton Singletary. He was selling a mix of Cajun style seafood, coconut shrimp, crab cakes and other seafood delicacies. “This is one of our favorite seafood festivals,” he said.
Rubin Mendoza also enjoyed the Seafood Festival. “We are selling crab cakes, seafood platters, shrimp kabob and other seafood dishes,” he said.
Colleen Peebles loved the Seafood Festival. “We are selling jambalaya, lobster tails, seafood medley and other items,” she said.
Robert Adams also enjoyed being a part of the Seafood Festival. “We are selling lobster mac and cheese, a captain’s platter, crab meat and other seafood dishes. This is a great event,” said Adams.
And throughout the three day event, there were many bands performing and people could get a drink and enjoy the music. Because the event was at the beach, people could enjoy the ocean. And there were plenty of opportunities to socialize and meet people.
