CrawDabauchery offers lots of Cajun fun

The CrawDebauchery event has been a success at Pompano Beach Community Park. The event, which took place on April 2 and 3 offered the community a chance to enjoy some real Louisiana and New Orleans style fun. There was plenty of music, Cajun food and just a chance to kick back and have a good time and relax.

Brandon Lofton worked with the Blue Fish Company to provide jambalaya and gumbo food. “I love being a part of this event. We are having a lot of fun today,” he said.

Joe Potter of the Twisted Pig BBQ Company was offering people pulled pork, smoked brisket, pig candy and other treats. “This is a great event and I enjoy being a part of it,” he said.

Jenni Broeckelmann and Shuck-N-Dive was offering raw oysters and various Cajun style dishes. “We are having a lot of fun today,” she said.

Raymond Grigsby was working with Shuck-N-Dive to prepare crawfish. He enjoyed the opportunity to serve people who were having fun.

Mary Council of the South Florida Blues Society enjoyed spending a day with her friends and promoting Blues music in Pompano Beach.

And there was plenty of music. Stan Street and the Streetwalkers performed as did Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, Geno Delafose and the French Rockin’ Boogie and many other groups. People danced to the music or just enjoyed listening to the music.
