Pompano Beach CRA Board Approves Lease with Bojo’s Seafood for 731 Shoppes
On Tuesday April 21st the CRA Board approved a lease for Bojo’s Seafood to take over the last remaining space in the CRA owned 731 Shoppes located at 731 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. The approval of this lease marks 100% occupancy for the building, which was the first retail development on MLK Blvd in over 50 years.
Bojo’s, a new seafood concept by Pompano Beach native Brandon Smith, is being welcomed with open arms and eager stomachs. As a child Brandon’s dream career was to run his father’s business, Lombos’s Seafood, and he knew from then that it was his destiny. Being instilled with all the knowledge, skills, preparation and will he needed to operate any business. After selling having the family business sold and a strong need and demand from the community to bring the restaurant back, Brandon obliged and decided to reopen naming the business “Bojo’s Seafood Kitchen.” With a buy here cook here policy, there are no shortcomings to this new business backed by Smith’s mastery with a knife and some good old fashion seasoning.
Bojo’s Seafood Kitchen will join the other members of the 731 Building during their grand opening on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 3pm-9pm. The owners will be welcoming community members and community officials including Mayor Fisher and the district commissioners.
Come out and experience the new wave of excitement in the NWCRA and support these new leaders in wonderful Pompano Beach!
